10 Ironmans. 10 Days. 10 Cities
Fergus Crawley • Apr 14, 2026 • 3 minutes readStarting on April 30th and finishing on May 9th, ten years after I attempted suicide, I will complete ten iron-distance triathlons in ten consecutive days across ten cities in the UK and Ireland.
In 2016, I attempted to take my own life. Years later, I found myself slipping back into that same place, feeling lonely, unfulfilled, and without purpose. To rebuild purpose, I challenged myself to squat half a million kilos in 24 hours, representing the half a million men lost to suicide each year.
That challenge became a way to regain direction — and to start helping others. Through past fundraising challenges, I've discovered the power of movement and community. By combining exercise with honesty and vulnerability, I'm really proud to have opened up conversations with thousands of people facing similar struggles — raising over £100,000 for Movember along the way.
Project TENacity builds on this journey.
Swim, Bike Or Run To Show Your Support
Triathlon has changed my life for the better, and has taught me things I didn't even know I needed to learn. It's created opportunities, conversations, connections, experiences, and forced me to adapt in so many ways.
This project isn't about my individual performance, but rather, about your particpation.
By moving together, in-person or virtually, we can send a clear message: no one has to face these struggles alone, and together, we can create real impact.
Each leg is designed so you can participate alongside me and you are welcome to take part in as much or as little as you want.
- The swims in private pools
- Bike routes are on closed circuits or parks
- Runs are on tracks or around parks
We already have over 300 people registered to take part.
You can join me at any of these cities. Choose the one that works best for you.

Project TENacity is raising funds for CALM – Campaign Against Living Miserably, a UK suicide prevention charity providing life-saving helplines and practical mental health support to anyone in need.
Every £12.20 raised funds a potentially life-saving call to someone in crisis. That one call can give someone hope, connection, and the chance to get help when it matters most.
Together, through movement, community, and collective action, we can make a real, measurable difference — turning personal challenge into life-saving impact.
I'm very pleased to say that we have already raised over £7000. If you are able to, please make a donation here.
Project TENacity is fully funded by Omnia Performance. By covering all project costs, we ensure that every pound raised goes directly to CALM.
