Hi, I’m Tom.

I’m a performance nutritionist and a dad so I know a thing or two about fueling for performance on limited sleep, reheated coffee, and whatever’s in the fridge at 6am.

I’ve worked with everyone from general population clients to elite athletes in rugby, CrossFit, and now a growing crew of hybrid athletes trying to hit big goals without losing their mind. My job is to make nutrition feel doable, not overwhelming. To give athletes clarity, confidence, and enough flexibility to actually enjoy the process.

I’m not into fads. I don’t care about macros to the fifth decimal. And I definitely don’t think “optimal” matters if it’s unsustainable. Nutrition should support your goals and enrich your life, not stress you out and feel like quantum physics.

My own training reflects that balance. In the past year I’ve put on nearly 10kg of muscle and taken 13 minutes off my marathon PB. I also like to throw down at HYROX when I can and when I’m training you’ll find Metallica is blaring in my ears.

When I’m off-duty, you’ll find me cooking (big fan of Thai and Mediterranean), watching EastEnders, or winding down with a good flat white and a slice of something dense and chocolatey. It’s all about balance, right?

The best part of this role? Removing all the confusion and overwhelm around nutrition for athletes and watching their performance, recovery and overall enjoyment go through the roof.
