 Bio

Hi, I’m Kieran.

I’ve spent most of my adult life in the military training, leading, and coaching in some of the most demanding environments out there. But if you’d met me as a kid, you probably wouldn’t have guessed it. I was painfully shy, spent lunch breaks in the library, and barely touched a hot meal due to food-related anxiety.

Joining the army changed everything. It gave me structure, belief, and a whole new version of myself to grow into. It also taught me what real challenge feels like and how to keep moving when everything in you wants to stop.

I’ve coached over 450 athletes ranging from elite UKSF candidates to complete beginners. The common thread between them is they all had doubts about what they were capable of. I help them rewrite those limits. Not with hype or fluff, but with smart programming and honest accountability that ranged from an arm round the shoulder to a kick up the arse (depending on the person, of course).

My own training is usually a bit ridiculous on purpose. If it looks like something I shouldn’t be good at, that’s probably why I’m doing it. I’m built like a powerlifter and still choose triathlons that end in Tour de France style climbs. There’s something satisfying about taking on a challenge you’re not “designed” for and doing it anyway.

Off-duty, I’m a wannabe home chef (can’t wait to move out of army accommodation), obsessed with Band of Brothers, and very into amateur photography with my FujiFilm. I still train to Down with the Sickness, even though I’ve been told I come across far more chilled than that would suggest.
