Hi, I’m Jamie.
I’ve been around high-performance sport my whole life.
At 16, I was told I needed to lose weight if I wanted a shot at going pro in cricket. Five months later, I topped the YoYo test and completely changed the direction of my training.
That moment lit a fire I haven’t really let go of. Since then, I’ve deadlifted 500lbs and run a sub-5-minute mile on the same day. Knocked out a 100km ultra on four weeks’ notice. Raised over £10,000 for Movember with things like 13-hour sled pushes and 30km runs every day for 13 days straight.
I’m also Fergus’ younger brother. So the guy you see on YouTube doing Hybrid Athlete things I see as the guy who dared me to do 1km of walking lunges when I was 12. Which I did. And while I couldn’t walk for days afterwards, I like to think this was my first exposure to what OMNIA is all about.
Outside of training, I’m happiest hiking, wild camping, or chasing down good food, coffee, and a pint of craft beer.
