Hi, I'm Craig.
I grew up in the sporting world. Multiple national rowing titles before I was a teenager. Scotland U18 representative. Then someone told me I was too tall for the boat.
At 6'3.
So I did what any sensible ex-athlete does and spent four years trying to look like Zyzz instead.
I got 'big', sure. But not in the way I wanted.
Eventually I found running. Then triathlon. Then - somehow - 100 miles on the West Highland Way. A 2:54 marathon, a 10:03 Ironman, and six years of coaching triathletes online later, here we are.
I sit at 90kg and I care about performing and looking like I train. I won't apologise for that.
I'm not going to stand here and tell you I've got it all figured out. But I've done the work across endurance sport, made most of the mistakes worth making, and built a coaching approach around what actually works.
In 2026 I'm back racing full Ironman distance at Cairns - first one since 2021 after a rough couple of years. So everything I'm asking you to do, I'm doing too.
Currently based in Gold Coast, Australia and having dealt with some personal health setbacks through 2024 and 2025, my main focus for 2026 is Ironman Cairns (my first full distance since 2021) where I hope to be competitive in my Age Group...and try to bag a trip to the Big Island!
